The Vancouver Aquarium
The Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Centre is a public aquarium located in Stanley Park in Vancouver, British Columbia. In addition to being a major tourist attraction for Vancouver, the aquarium is a centre for marine research, conservation and marine animal rehabilitation. The aquarium covers approximately 9,000 square metres and has a total 9,500,000 litres of water in 166 aquatic displays. Science World at Telus World of Science, Vancouver is a science centre run by a not-for-profit organization in Vancouver, British Columbia. Playland at the PNE
Playland is an amusement park in Vancouver, British Columbia. It is located in Hastings Park and is the oldest amusement park in Canada. It holds a variety of rides and activities for guests. Seasonally, the events change, as during the summer time the PNE holds an annual fair for monster trucks, animal races, and Derby Demolitions. The park is open from April - September every year but reopens during mid October for Halloween, as they hold an event called "Fright Nights," where the park is turned into a spooky place with hired actors and haunted houses. Queen Elizabeth Theatre
The Queen Elizabeth Theatre is a performing arts venue in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia. Along with the Orpheum and the Vancouver Playhouse, it is one of three facilities operated by the Vancouver Civic Theatres Department (the Playhouse adjoins the QE Theatre in the same complex). Formerly the home of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, which is now based at the Orpheum, the Queen Elizabeth Theatre is the home of the Vancouver Opera and Ballet BC, in addition to hosting various other musical events year-round.
